About Harry
I'm currently studying Further Mathematics and Physics after completing my mathematics A level and achieving an A*. I have only just recently started tutoring however I have been a swimming instructor for over 4 years. From this, I know how to break down seemingly difficult ideas into simpler concepts. I love the idea of teaching others and I hope to become a teacher in the future.

I teach by establishing a base at which the student is learning, seeing what they know currently. After this is established, I start introducing new ideas that build off their current knowledge and helping them with any questions or topics they are particularly struggling with. I always begin every lesson with a starter in order to build off the ideas of the previous lesson as well as testing their knowledge with slightly more challenging questions that combine multiple ideas. I will then review these questions, take note of the ideas they are struggling with, then move onto the main lesson plan. I then follow this up by helping them with any questions they may have, and then summarising the lesson into main concepts and giving them work to complete in their own time.
