About Yvonne
After retiring I didn’t want to stop working as a teacher altogether. I feel I have much more to offer on a 1-1 basis. I used to be the child who tried to be invisible at school, who dreaded being asked a question by the teacher and was very quiet. One special teacher gave me the confidence to believe in myself, and this is the reason I want to help others grow. Let me help you find the confidence you need. If it helps, I can pre-teach your next topic in school so you can feel confident during lessons.

With over 30 years of experience in primary schools I can engage pupils in learning through their own interests, making it exciting and fun to learn. I can teach any primary school subject, from learning to read (can also teach adults), writing and Maths, to working towards specific SEND objectives or KS2 tests. I am also happy to teach parents how to help their children learn in one-off sessions or over time alongside their child.
