About Kate
I am a Head of English in a British secondary school. I gained my teaching qualification from Oxford University and went on to achieve my MSc from the same institution. I have been teaching for 8 years with proven results. My undergraduate degree was English literature and drama.

My teaching is based on a small steps approach and high level modelling. I believe students need clear instructions and also to be shown what a high level understanding looks like before they are able to expertly replicate this in a number of contexts.
