About Zahraa
I am currently pursuing an MA in Education and International Development at UCL, where I focus on the role of teaching and learning in fostering social cohesion. My academic background includes a First-Class Honours degree in International Business from Brunel University and a PGCE from Goldsmiths University, where I graduated with top honours. I have extensive experience in education, particularly as the Head of Business at a top leading school in London, where I teach Business GCSE and A-level. I am dedicated to maintaining high academic standards and creating a positive, supportive learning environment. My role involves overseeing the curriculum, tracking students’ progress, and leading various extracurricular initiatives, including the Young Enterprise Business club and an international partnership on climate change. I am also the lead Business subject adviser for a teaching trust. I am passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in their exams and beyond, using innovative teaching methods and tailored support to ensure every student reaches
