About Laura
I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to study ballet through the syllabus of Royal Academy of Dance from age 4 to 20. I was awarded to the level of Advanced Foundation. As a teenager I would assist at teaching junior and intermediate students the RAD syllabus. I love ballet and wish to share this with other people (teens / adults) who have been wanting to give it a go for the first time.

My lessons will be based on the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus of Ballet which focuses on building correct strength, flexibility and technique over time.
This is important to ensure you get the most out of ballet and also avoid any injuries. After attending many many adult classes in Australia I realised how many Adults would love to learn Ballet who did not get the chance as young people. Classes will involve appropriate gentle stretching and strengthening at the bar (using a chair as balance) before moving to centre work. You will also be learning appropriate ballet terminology so that once you have the confidence to do group classes you are familiar with the french words to describe ballet movements.
Classes can be done from the comfort of your own home (space permitting).

Laura provided me tutoring for my first year university business unit of data analysis. Laura is very patient and guided me step by step to help me solve and understand the maths problems in a logical manner.
