About Jesmin
I am credentialed teacher. I worked as GED Instructor for about ten years. I used to teach 12th grade level math, English, social studies and science. I also worked as a tutor at California State University, Los Angeles for two years.
I am especially good in math (geometry, college algebra, trigonometry).

I believe every student has a potential to learn. I try to make my lessons attractive by using drawing or some kind of visual presentations, telling stories. I encouraging the students to learn.
I normally review the previous lesson to see if the student remember it or I need to go over it one more time. Then I move to a new lesson. Asking questions to check if the student understands me. After explaining something, I give the student some work to do. Finally I assign some homework and give the student a heads up for the next lesson.
I believe I can explain and make the students understand better.
I want to tutor k-12 and some college students.
