About Adrian
I have taught at four universities, which are RMIT, La Trobe University, Melbourne University and Monash University, in the fields of economics and international business since 2004. I gained by Certificate IV Training and Assessment from Melbourne Polytechnic in 2022. I started teaching, because I wanted young people to reach their goals and be a positive influence on their lives. I want to run a service that does not squeeze the learner into one category, but caters to their needs, interests and learning styles.

I have a doctorate in economics from La Trobe University since 2013. I have taught international business and economics since 2004. I also hold a current Certificate IV Training and Assessment and a Working with Children Check. I usually would hold lessons for no more than hour each week.
Usually, I start by trying to get to know the student in terms of his or her goal, interests and hobbies that can be used as examples in lessons. Get them to do a VARK test to see how the student learns.
Then will usually then start to prepare visual assets for our future lessons, usually get them to grade two mock example of writing and discuss why it would get a good grade. I database any gaps in student knowledge and try to tackle them later I usually try to find this out by looking at a piece of their written work or through our discussions as well as prepare supplementary exercises based on their goals and interests stated above. I would also help with assessments, however, I would ask the students to consult their teachers, tutors and lecturers first for clarifications.
I would be comfortable with teaching high school to Bachelors degree university students.
