About Caroline
I have experience with solo performance, chamber music, and orchestral playing at the university level. I have attended summer string festivals through the Cleveland Institute of Music and Birch Creek Music Performance Center, as well as attended/performed in workshops and masterclasses through the Cleveland Institute of Music, University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, University of Denver, with the Calidore String Quartet, and more. I would love to aid the musical development of your student!

I have been teaching lessons, group classes, and observing/assisting as a studio assistant at South Side Suzuki Cooperative in Hyde Park, IL for about 3 years. The teaching method I am familiar with includes standard classical technique, memorization/recall techniques, and recital-based preparation. A standard lesson might include instruction on technique/études and scales and one or two pieces of standard repertoire(concerto movement, sonata movement, etc.) depending on the age and skill level of the student.
