About Megan
I am a PhD student and have a first class degree in Microbiology. My interests are largely around antibiotic resistance and bacterial resistance mechanisms - especially biofilms! I am also interested in biochemistry and biotechnology. For my undergraduate dissertation I explored the use of natural therapeutic alternatives to conventional antibiotics against resistant bacteria. I am extremely knowledgeable in all areas of biological science with knowledge in chemistry too.

My teaching method is to talk through a presentation I have personally created based on the subject area the student requires tutoring in, then we will do a quiz created by myself and move on to a creative activity such as creating colourful diagrams and mind maps to instil the topic in your memory and provide some fun and artistic approaches to learning!
