About Madeline
I am a freshman in college and I have 7 years of experience playing the violin. I participate in music related groups and events multiple times a week and have competed in ensembles and solos. I have made it to the state level individually every year for the past 4 years (grades 9-12), and I currently take lessons!

I start with the basics to give my students a good foundation so that we can build up their skills. For example, I start by teaching the parts of the instruments and then how to read the music. There is a lot to learn like shifting and bow techniques but those come at a more intermediate level.
