About Sharmistha
Hello Students, I am Sharmistha. I have completed my M.Tech in Computer Science from University of Calcutta. I have worked as a software engineer for more than 4 years in a leading IT firm. Teaching was always a passion project for me as it gives me an avenue to work with brilliant minds and it usually is a two way road. I learn from my students and try to help my students to understand the concepts with practical examples. I teach Java and SQL. Based on the requirement, I teach other programming languages as well.

Coding should not feel like memorizing a syntax — it should feel like solving puzzles that actually make sense. I teach Java, SQL, and basic programming languages with a strong focus on exams and projects, so students don't just pass the tests, they should become comfortable with the concepts as well. The pace of the class will be dictated based on the conversation and comfort level of the student. Each class starts with a brief discussion of the concept and moves into exam-style problem solving or project work, and ends with a quick review to reinforce learning. I work with school students strengthening their fundamentals of programming languages and college students who are preparing for exams, assignments, and academic projects. Practical, exam-focused, and project-driven — my goal is to help students understand the underlying subject very well and to develop the necessary skill sets which will help them in their career.
