I thoroughly believe in understanding a subject like Biology than just memorizing to get scores. My aim lies in making students love the subject and build interest in the same. The following are the general structure I follow -
1. I have my classes in the form of conversation, getting a clear idea of their present understanding before I proceed.
2. I include a lot of diagrams and flowcharts in my teaching sessions as they tend to remain for longer in the memory while making the subject matter easier to remember.
3. I tend to take short but regular quizzes/exams as that reduces the chances of a student from stacking up learning material for the night before the exam.
4. I also recommend non-fictional science books to students who are interested in the subject to assure they are asking the more important scientific questions and to guide them to build a scientific attitude.
My classes are open to students of all classes from standard five to college/young adults.
