About Debashree
Economics is a subject where theory meets praxis. Theories should be supported by empirical evidences and what is happening in the economy should again bolster theories.
In my teaching, I tend to do exactly that. It not only stimulates love for the subject but also clears concepts in a way that will always stand by the students in good stead.
I have the experience of teaching for more than 5 years. Under my stint as a junior research fellow under government of West Bengal, I have taken many remedial classes for university students...which again makes me aware and well versed with the problems that a student might encounter in this subject.

My approach is student centric to begin with. I try to identify the gaps in concepts and knowledge that exist in part of the students and try to clear them firsthand. Then it becomes easier to build on the theory and I try to relate theory with empirical evidence as it wonderfully stimulates interest in the subject.
