I have been a teacher since 1990, a Head of Department for English and then a Deputy Head. Currently I work as a researcher for a University and also as a tutor.
I can teach English Language through to A level and literature through to University level. History I also teach through to University level and teach history at a University presently.
I am a published author, most recently with a biography on the Saxon Kings: Harold Harefoot and Eadred and I regularly work for CGP publishers working on the revision guides.
I can also teach Religious Studies.
I run a Podcast on Itunes called 'The Teller' so you could check me out on that! It gives me a chance to showcase some of my own stories, which I have developed over the years - sometimes with my students for whom I run Creative Writing courses.
Qualifications - I have a BEd (Hons) degree at 2:1 Level, and MA in Cultural History and an MA in Christian Theology. In addition I have the TEFL Diploma.
As a tutor I am patient and friendly - I listen to what you need and keep lessons tightly focussed.
