About Harry
I believe what makes me a good tutor is my ability to connect with students and explain Chemistry in a way that finally makes sense. I’m patient, down-to-earth and genuinely enjoy seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something clicks. Having supported students with a range of abilities — including those who find traditional learning tough and/or with learning difficulties — I know how to adapt my style to suit each individual. Because I’ve been through the challenges of learning with dyslexia myself, I understand how important it is to build confidence as well as knowledge. I focus on helping students feel capable and prepared so they approach their exams with calm and clarity.

I am a flexible tutor and will personalise my sessions to suit each student. Generally, sessions last one hour (but longer sessions can be arranged if needed) where I will focus on exam technique, simplifying difficult concepts, and creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions. My experiences ensure I am well equipped to support students currently facing GCSEs during this important stage of life. Having dyslexia myself, I’m especially understanding and adaptable when it comes to different learning styles and challenges.
