About Marie
Bonjour ! I am a non-for-profit project manager who's been traveling, volunteering and working across Asia and Australia for almost 4 years.
I am French and studied Italian and English as well as sustainable-development oriented project management in France and abroad. Both my curiosity and academic focus on languages have led me to teach English and Italian as a second language to high school and primary students at different stages of my life - individually and in groups.
Meticulous and organised with a solid attainment in grammar, I would like to build up on my pedagogical and immersive experiences in foreign countries to teach French in a hands-on manner to students. I have recently followed an online course "teaching French as a second language" offered by the Alliance Française of Vichy, which gave me teaching tools to reach this goal.

My teaching method will be based on the analysis of your strengths, weaknesses and requests to improve comprehension and/or expression in French.
I want to offer didactic sessions to foster your understanding of grammar, but mostly your flow in expressing yourself. Besides holding the lessons in French only, I will rely on online ressources (news, dialogues, meaningful songs, recipes, short movies, policy developments...) to which you can go back to in your own time, so as to empower you to dive into French matters. Indeed, my main goal as a teacher is to give you the tools to make you confident in your ability to understand in various settings, but also to assess your level and needs so as to keep on learning individually as well.
