I understand that jazz can feel intimidating at first, especially for players coming from rock, blues, or self-taught backgrounds, so I focus on making complex concepts approachable and easy to apply on the instrument.
I’m committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their musical voice, and progressing at a pace that works for them. I teach jazz guitar with a practical musical approach helping students understand the fretboard, harmony, rhythm, technique, improvisation and sight reading. Lessons are tailored to each student's level and goals whether you are a beginner or intermediate player coming from rock/blues background. My method is straight-ahead, up-to-point. Helping interested individuals reach their goals fast.
