About Susana
My name is Susana, I am 20 years old, and I am about to finish my university career as a professional musician. I learned guitar since I was a child, and in my teens I was allowed to start teaching music classes to the youngest students at the academy where I was studying; there I discovered that I liked to teach. Over time, I continued to grow, improve, and now I teach music even in English to people in different countries of the world, because due to a pandemic I could not continue giving face-to-face classes as I did before. Finally, I discovered that I feel very comfortable this way and that my students are making more progress than expected.

My classes (can be in Spanish or English) are made up of 4 steps: Warm-ups, theory (basic music exercises or reading simple songs), practice of a song that you choose and then one that I choose (that you also like) . I make a presentation for each of my students and in that way I manage the organization of our classes. For guitar / ukulele theory I use different exercises and methods that I have learned over the years and the book by Bradford Werner and for piano I use Bastien or Bartok. In the teaching of songs it can be from memory or reading sheet music.
