I’m a guitar tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory, specialising in guitar. My approach goes beyond playing notes—I focus on music production fundamentals, audio engineering, and home recording techniques tailored specifically for guitarists. I believe that becoming a well-rounded musician means understanding tone shaping, effects pedals, basic mixing, and microphone placement. These skills help you craft your unique sound and bring your music to life both live and in the studio. I’ve worked with students ranging from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate, as well as professional session players seeking to refine their recording skills. My focus is on fingerstyle guitar, intricate arrangements, and classical pieces that challenge and inspire. I guide students through advanced picking patterns, classical repertoire, and reading sheet music with care and precision. Together, we explore arranging songs for solo guitar, uncovering the beauty and complexity of fingerstyle playing. I use clear visual aids, precise demonstrations, and slow-practice techniques to build solid skills and confidence. I work especially well with Recording Artists looking to deepen their artistry and Late Bloomers eager to develop their musical voice at any stage. Each lesson is tailored to your unique journey, emphasising detailed progress and musical expression. My teaching is patient, supportive, and focused on unlocking your potential.
