About Hannah
I am a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Music. My love for guitar began with its ability to tell stories through both gentle melodies and powerful rhythms. Teaching guitar allows me to guide students in developing technique while also discovering their own musical identity.
My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and creativity-focused. I help learners build strong rhythm control, chord transitions, fingerstyle confidence, solo phrasing, and expressive interpretation. Many students come to guitar wanting both clarity and freedom, and I enjoy helping them grow into confident players who truly understand what they are doing. I believe guitar learning should feel exciting, not stressful.
Outside of teaching, I remain active through local performances, songwriting projects, and continuous exploration of new styles. Watching students progress from uncertainty to confidence is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help you play with skill, emotion, and pride. Together, we will make your guitar journey inspiring and unforgettable.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students feel excited, motivated, and confident in their playing. Guitar is a versatile instrument that allows learners to explore rhythm, melody, and personal style in a way that feels deeply rewarding. I create lessons that balance structure with creativity, ensuring students develop strong technical foundations while still enjoying the freedom of music-making. Each session is supportive, engaging, and focused on steady progress.
In our lessons, we explore chord fluency, rhythm accuracy, strumming patterns, fingerstyle development, and melodic soloing. Beginners learn essential chords, timing basics, and simple songs that build confidence early. Intermediate learners strengthen barre chords, improvisation skills, bending and vibrato techniques, and musical flexibility across genres. Advanced students refine tone shaping, performance readiness, theory-based soloing, and expressive stage confidence. I provide clear feedback and personalized goals so learners feel supported at every level.
Guitar learning builds creativity, patience, and musical independence. My goal is to help students feel proud of their sound and inspired by their progress. Over time, learners develop confidence, expressive depth, and a stronger musical voice. Each lesson becomes a step toward joyful and lasting guitar artistry.
