About Henry
I have been playing guitar since age 12, and been performing and recording, as well as teaching music for nearly 15 years
My goal as a teacher is to share the enthusiasm that I feel for guitar with all my students by encouraging them to tap into their own unique sources of inspiration to direct their personal musical growth. My specialties are in soloing, music theory, and improvisation, with a focus on (but not limited to) indie, rock, folk and jam styles.

Each lesson is structured around the music you bring in, whether it's a chord progression you want to jam on, or a whole album's worth of songs you want to learn.
I teach for all ages, at all levels, from first time beginners to the more advanced players looking to further hone their craft. I can also help you build skills in songwriting, self-production, and ear training.
