About Keith
I am a self-taught player of over 10 years with a passion for guitar in any genre. I am a graduate of BIMM Dublin (Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship) and I am a firm believer in the idea that anyone can learn guitar.
So many people get disheartened when faced with the overwhelming amount of information available online. "Where do I start", "what do I need to learn first?", "how do I practice effectively?". These are all questions I was asking myself when I began and it was very frustrating. A few years later, I realised that when you peel back all the confusion, there is a much more straightforward way. Clear information, a plan of action and a little bit of consistency can go a very long way. I take a patient approach to teaching with a focus on the student's journey towards enjoying guitar and building their confidence.

Learning guitar can seem overwhelming. There is so much information online that it can often prove too much for beginners to navigate which ultimately leaves them disheartened. My philosophy is that with a little bit of consistency and the right information, anyone can get to a stage where they enjoy picking up the guitar and feel confident doing so.
As a tutor, I believe it's all about the student. Keeping students engaged with easy-to-follow lessons, content relevant to their music taste and a little of patience can generate incredible results.
I provide 45-minute lessons for €20 in Dublin 18. Group discounts are available.
