About Jd
Since picking up the guitar as a child, I have learned and been taught a variety of different styles and genres, although in my early twenties, I settled on jazz and acoustic jazz.
I have been performing around the UK now for over 10 years, mostly playing jazz and acoustic although I have also played in a number of function acts playing all kinds of pop music from the 90's and the 80's to the 70s and the 60's.

My lessons are suitable for all students of all ages who want to learn to play, to perform or to improve their abilities. I teach at the student's pace and begin by discussing what the student wants to acheive so that I can tailor the lessons to their goals.
I teach from my home and lessons are 1 hour long.
