About Krisha
I hold a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and have taught guitar for 7 years, helping learners achieve both technical skill and musical expression. My teaching philosophy balances structured technical instruction with creative exploration, enabling students to progress confidently while enjoying the learning process. I emphasize patient guidance, individualized support, and encouragement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s abilities, incorporating exercises, repertoire, and performance practice. Creating a positive, motivating environment is central to my approach. Outside teaching, I continue to perform, study new techniques, and explore musical genres. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I support learners as they develop both skill and expressive artistry. Helping students discover their own musical voice and gain confidence in performance is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Guitar lessons become most effective when learners balance technical skills with musical creativity. My approach focuses on chord progressions, fingerstyle technique, strumming patterns, solo phrasing, and tone shaping, helping students play with both precision and expression. Lessons include scales, exercises, improvisation, repertoire, and performance practice, providing a well-rounded foundation for all levels. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities, encouraging exploration, self-expression, and independent practice. By connecting theory with practical playing, students gain confidence and a deeper understanding of their instrument.
Lesson progression is tailored to each learner. Beginners focus on chord formation, basic strumming, and simple melodies, while intermediate students refine finger dexterity, dynamics, and articulation. Advanced learners explore complex pieces, improvisation, performance skills, and expressive nuance. Every lesson integrates guidance, practical exercises, and performance evaluation to develop technical ability and artistic expression.
Guitar lessons also enhance creativity, discipline, and self-confidence. Students gain the ability to perform, compose, and interpret music with personal style. Many experience joy, satisfaction, and emotional growth through regular practice. My goal is to help learners develop technical proficiency, expressive capability, and a lifelong passion for music.
