About Eve
My passion for guitar led me to pursue a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and an M.Mus in Contemporary Music. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students of all ages and levels, guiding them through technical development, musical expression, improvisation, and performance preparation. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity, structured guidance, and individualized support, ensuring that learners build confidence while exploring their unique musical voice.
I design lessons to be interactive, adaptive, and inspiring, blending exercises, repertoire, improvisation, and performance practice. I encourage students to experiment with style, refine technique, and embrace their musical identity.
Beyond teaching, I perform, compose, and study diverse musical genres, integrating real-world insights into lessons. Teaching guitar is immensely rewarding because I witness students transform technical skills into confident, expressive, and artistic performance. My goal is to inspire learners to enjoy music, develop their voice, and achieve technical mastery with creative freedom.

Guitar lessons become immersive and enjoyable when students balance technical mastery with creative expression. My approach integrates chord knowledge, scale practice, fingerstyle techniques, strumming patterns, soloing, improvisation, and performance skills in a supportive environment. I emphasize musicality, precision, and expressive depth through structured exercises, repertoire study, and guided experimentation. Each lesson encourages students to develop their personal musical voice while building confidence and technical proficiency. I use interactive exercises, genre exploration, and performance simulations to ensure learners grow both creatively and technically.
Beginners focus on building a foundation through chord shapes, rhythm practice, simple songs, and finger placement. Intermediate learners refine barre chords, soloing, scale sequences, improvisation, and style interpretation to enhance technical agility and musical creativity. Advanced learners focus on complex repertoire, advanced improvisation, creative composition, and stage presence, preparing for performance, recording, or professional development. Every lesson includes practical exercises, reflective discussions, and personalized feedback to ensure steady progress.
Guitar lessons also foster creativity, discipline, and self-confidence. Students gain the ability to express emotion through their playing, develop independence, and perform with assurance. Many discover joy in improvisation, interpreting songs, and composing original music.
