About Sullivan
With 4 years of experience as a guitar tutor, I teach students from school level to working professionals. I have guided beginners as well as experienced learners with patience and dedication.
My teaching philosophy focuses on learning with understanding and regular practice. I believe students should know what they are playing and why. I explain concepts clearly and help students apply them through songs and exercises.
My lessons include guitar fundamentals, chords, scales, rhythm patterns, strumming and picking techniques, fingerstyle basics, and performance skills. I also introduce basic music theory to improve musical confidence.
During my teaching career, many students have performed confidently at school and college events. These experiences have helped them grow musically and personally.
I maintain a friendly and structured teaching approach. My goal is to help students enjoy learning guitar and achieve steady progress.

My teaching methodology focuses on practical learning, clear communication, and honest teaching values. I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable and connected to real-life music use. I use real-life examples, song-based lessons, and simple case studies to explain guitar techniques in an easy way.
I begin by understanding the student’s goals, comfort level, and learning speed. Communication is clear and supportive, helping students stay motivated. I explain lessons step by step and provide regular feedback.
Integrity is at the heart of my teaching approach. I focus on building strong foundations and encouraging consistent practice. Guitar lessons include chords, scales, strumming, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Along with guitar, I also teach relevant subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, timing skills, and performance confidence. My goal is to help students become confident and independent musicians.
