About Dahlia
Hi, I'm Dahlia! I picked up my first acoustic guitar at age nine and fell completely in love with every style I discovered along the way — from gentle fingerstyle to powerful rock riffs to the soulful world of blues and jazz. By high school I was performing electric guitar in my school's rock band and teaching myself jazz chord voicings just out of pure curiosity. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.Ed.) from the University of Florida, where my training included guitar performance across multiple genres, music theory, ensemble playing, and ukulele instruction. With 6 years of experience, I have worked with over 290 happy students across the US, from first-time players learning their very first chords to students developing their own confident style in blues, jazz, and rock. I was honored with the Guitar Educator Excellence Award by the Florida String Teachers Association for my outstanding contributions to online guitar education. My lessons always match your personality and your musical taste because the best guitar lesson is one you genuinely look forward to every single week.

I offer online one-on-one live guitar lessons for students up to Grade 12 and college first-year students. My lessons cover Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Blues Guitar, Jazz Guitar, Rock Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar, Ukulele, Chord Progressions, Scales, Music Theory for Guitar, Strumming and Picking Techniques, Improvisation, and Guitar Performance Skills.
