About Hanna
With over 7 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I specialise in teaching Guitar to college students who want a balanced and enjoyable learning experience.
My teaching style is interactive and supportive. I take time to understand students’ goals and challenges. Based on this, I create lessons that are clear, engaging, and focused on steady progress.
I use innovative teaching methods such as real-song learning, technique-focused exercises, and guided practice schedules. Students improve chord accuracy, rhythm, and finger coordination through structured learning. I also use backing tracks to improve timing and confidence.
I teach music theory in a simple and practical manner. I also encourage improvisation and creative playing to help students develop their own style.
I create a comfortable learning space where students feel encouraged to practise and grow. My goal is to help college students become confident guitar players who enjoy music and continue learning independently.

My approach to teaching Guitar is rooted in creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I want students to enjoy music while learning skills that last a lifetime. Lessons encourage improvisation, composing original music, and exploring diverse genres, helping students develop their unique style.
Critical thinking is an essential part of my methodology. I guide students to understand chord progressions, scales, and rhythm patterns so they can analyse songs, solve musical challenges, and make informed decisions while playing.
I emphasise accountability by helping students set achievable goals, practise consistently, and track their progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement build confidence and a sense of achievement.
In addition to Guitar, I can teach music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance techniques. Lessons are customised to each student’s level, pace, and interests, making learning practical, fun, and rewarding.
My goal is to mentor students into confident, creative, and independent musicians who can play, compose, and express themselves through music.
