About Kora
With 5 years of experience in violin teaching and performance, I am passionate about helping students develop technical skills, confidence, and a love for music that lasts a lifetime. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning their first notes to advanced learners preparing for recitals, performances, and exams.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performing confidently and expressively. My lessons focus on strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bow technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical expression, and interpretation.
I integrate music theory, sight-reading, and listening exercises to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of music. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, creating a supportive, patient, and motivating environment. Teaching violin allows me to inspire students, build confidence, and cultivate a lifelong passion for music.

I teach violin using a methodology based on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to develop musicians who are confident, expressive, and technically skilled. Each lesson is structured to balance technical skill-building, creative exploration, and performance preparation, tailored to the student’s abilities and goals.
Motivation is central to my approach. I guide students in setting clear, achievable goals, tracking their progress, and celebrating milestones. This fosters engagement, perseverance, and a love for learning. Communication ensures lessons are interactive and supportive, giving students space to share questions, challenges, and musical ideas freely.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, interpretation, and composition exercises, helping students develop their artistic voice and a personal connection to music. Integrity teaches responsible, disciplined practice and respect for the craft, ensuring consistent growth and long-term success.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, providing a holistic foundation in music. My methodology ensures that students develop technical mastery, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
