About Alaina
Hi! I'm Alaina (ah-lai-na). I am a recent grad (May 2020). I am a graphic designer and am currently tutoring one ESL student. I would love to take on more students and help more people to learn. I am obsessed with grammar and vocabulary, so being an English tutor just makes sense.
I am a laid-back person in general, so if you are someone that takes a bit of time to learn a new subject, no worries! I am here to help you out! English, like art, is very forgiving, so we'll get creative with it.

I've always absolutely loved English (but it's ok if you don't). I know how difficult it can be to break down the "deep" meaning of a book or how to write an essay to make your English teacher weep, so don't stress, I was where you are four years ago.
I like to keep the atmosphere of my sessions relaxed. It's much easier to learn knowing that I'm here to make sure you understand everything thoroughly and am working with you like a teammate. I can tutor up to high school AP English and am willing to help with any kind of comprehension/ vocab/ essay prep that you need.
