About Emily

Hi! I’m a recent VCE graduate who enjoys staying active, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Outside of academics, I have a strong passion for sport, particularly triathlon, which has taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance and setting goals. I also love traveling, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.

Having recently finished high school, I understand firsthand the challenges of balancing schoolwork, extracurricular activities and a social life. I’m a friendly, patient and approachable person who enjoys meeting new people and helping others.

I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping people learn and gain confidence in their abilities. Throughout high school, teaching my friends content the period before a test are some of the best memories I have! I hope to share the knowledge, study techniques and experiences I’ve gained throughout school to make learning a little easier and more enjoyable for others.

My approach to tutoring is centered around creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I aim to break down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps, adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs.

Having recently completed VCE, I understand the pressures of school and the importance of building both confidence and strong study habits. My lessons focus on developing a genuine understanding of the content, rather than simply memorizing answers, so students can approach assessments with confidence and independence.
