About Júlia
"I move as an educator, because, first, I move as a person". I see teaching as a transforming agent of society, so in my classes, I try to encourage my students' autonomy and critical thinking. In addition, I am concerned with meeting the needs and difficulties that I observe in them, always preparing the materials based on their learning difficulties. I am Júlia, a graduate student in the Portuguese language course at UFRN and a fluent English speaker, certified by the University of Cambridge. I have been giving private lessons in Portuguese and English since the beginning of 2020 and I do not see myself doing anything else. I feel fulfilled when interacting with my students and at the end of the class realize that the learning took place in a light and productive way.
