About Bastien
I will be pleased to work in English, but I have a strong accent as most of the French People :) I graduated a PhD in Material Chemistry (Bac + 8) in december 2019 from the Université de Lille (France), with a strong specialization in Inorganic chemistry, condensed matters and physical properties of solids (magnetism, conductivity). I supervized 4 master students internships during my PhD, also about 30 hours of Practical Work in University (Solution Chemistry courses), and about 30 hours of scientific vulgarization in college and High School.

These courses are aimed to chemistry students from college to bac +2. I am generally available weekends and evenings (complementary to my hours as a postdoctoral researcher). I tend to approach the subject freely, to adapt to the specific needs and requests of the student. If you send me some questions 24 hours before our session, I can prepare a structured support (slide on Powerpoint) to answer clearly your questions, or comment exercices.
The ideal would be to divide the 1 hour sessions into two blocks: A theoretical approach (reminders of the program's notions at request, answers to specific questions), and a practical approach (corrections of exercises ...) which is the best way to assimilate the notions :)
