About Manon
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela I have been passionate about English language and culture (big fan of the Beatles, Queen, the Stones ...) since very young. This interest led me to specialize in learning this language during my studies and my professional experiences. Thus, I have graduated since September 2019 with a master's degree in Applied Foreign Languages, course in European project management. As a strong supporter of human rights protection, I believe that the most effective way to combat their violations in the long term is education. It is for this reason that I have developed a particular interest in educational projects on which I have been able to work during several internships, in France and abroad. I had the opportunity to study and work in English-speaking countries, which allowed me to obtain an advanced level (bilingual) in English as well as a professional vocabulary. Today, I wish to transmit the values and knowledge acquired by my university and abroad experiences through initiations to English to the youngest (from kindergarten / primary to college) and to high school students. I also offer TOEIC, TOEFL and other exam preparation courses. Classes can take place at my home in Toulon, at your home, near Toulon, or by Skype. I like to use an interactive pedagogy, which balances practical teaching and theory. I encourage interactions with and participation by the student (debates, presentations, role plays, ...) to allow him to develop the confidence that is necessary to express himself orally. During my lessons, I highlight culture in order to create an interest in the student: films, series, music, art, literature ... For example, I like to introduce each session with a short presentation on a topical subject or other topic of interest to the student. I also use more traditional methods and formats for the theoretical part of the sessions and according to the desires / needs of the student. The content of the lessons will be evaluated during our first meeting depending on the level, difficulties and / or interests of the student.
