About Rukmini

I used to pursue acting, but as time went on I wanted to learn a deeper knowledge of mankind. I am currently studying anthropology and psychology at Santa Monica College. I want to become a correctional counselor when I am done with my studies. I believe in earnest integrity as a student because learning is very rewarding when done with good intent. I have come from an underprivileged background, I have had to work hard to get where I am currently and very thankful to all the learning I have accumulated. I want to share my knowledge with others and keep learning!

About the lesson

I like to strategize with the student by assessing their needs and goals for their learning experience. When someone feels overwhelmed by a subject I believe it is best to simplify things and take it one step at a time.

typically I would access the students needs, then we work with assignments they need help with, target areas that need attention, then review the lesson. By the end of the session my goal is for the student to have a strong understanding of the material at hand.

I understand that at times our education path can be frustrating and straight up boring! I used to feel my lack of ability to understand certain subjects made me feel incapable of learning, but I can assure you that you can overcome that feeling with the proper assistance. I am here to help you when you are lost, or just want some extra assistance. Learning can be a fun experience that you should feel confident with and I want you to feel great.

I can help with any humanities studies up to a college level. I also specialize in anthropological biology at a college level.
