About YAZMIN
Currently in my fourth year of PhD in Cell Biotechnology, I have had 1.5 years of compulsory tutoring and hands-on training experience due to the requirement conditions. In that time fulfilling the requirements, I've found that I loved teaching and sharing my the knowledge of cell culture to those who are interested to learn. Soon after, I have willingly continued to tutor and provide hands-on cell culture training within the lab I am placed in. The twinkle in their eyes are what motivates me to keep doing what I do.

Hello, I am Yazmin. I have graduated my degree in Bachelor of Science in Cellular & Molecular Biology (Hons.) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2016. In 2017, I enrolled in a Master of Science programme and have successfully converted to PhD programme in 2018. I am currently in my third year of PhD research.
I am looking for students who are interested to learn Cell Culture basics and Cell Biotechnology for as low as RM15/h. My classes will be fixed according to the student's schedule as agreed on the first lesson. An assessment of the students understanding and prior knowledge will also be conducted on the first lesson. My teaching methods vary based on the students' abilities. I try my best to assess how the students' train of thoughts compute and adjust my methods accordingly to stimulate their thinking further. When required, I focus on answering techniques for examinations.
The following lessons will include lesson objectives, topic of the day, quiz and feedback sessions.
- Lessons will follow their School/University syllabus
- Confronting students' concerns regarding lessons
- Quiz and test will be conducted on a regular basis as part of progress tracking
- Interactive learning
As this is a higher level education, I aim to spark the students' curiosity with more than just the knowledge they attended for.
