About Emily
I have a First Class BA (Hons) degree one Fine art, receiving the highest grade from my institution recognised by my universities exam board.
I previously achieved A*’s in A-Level Art and Design and Textiles with the AQA exam board.
I have experience delivering portfolio advice presentations for university portfolios, and have taught a range of age groups observational drawing skills. I also have teaching experience across schools and sixth forms in East Anglia, delivering informal personal one-to-one tutorials on developing studio practices, writing artist statements and biographies, developing analytical writing skills, and sketchbook advice on both a one to one basis and small groups

I craft my sessions very much around the individual and what they want to learn.
If it is GCSE or A-Level assistance you require please message me the exam specification before our first session.
My tutorials take a professional yet informal approach, as this is essential to make you feel comfortable to be able to openly talk and develop your work.
If you’re looking for specific oil painting classes I can deliver a programme of tutorials to introduce you to different painting techniques, materials, and varnishes for you to go away and produce work and then feedback on.
I also offer professional assistance with writing and proofreading documents such as artist statements, biographies, website building, CV, and analytical essay writing up to a degree level standard.
