About Hillai
I am a dedicated and experienced music educator specializing in piano, clarinet, saxophone, and ukulele. My teaching combines strong technical foundations with a supportive and encouraging learning environment, helping students build both skill and confidence. I work with beginners through advancing students, including adults learning for enjoyment and young musicians preparing for auditions and performances.

I am a dedicated piano teacher offering structured, engaging lessons for beginners through intermediate students. My approach combines strong technical foundations with music that students genuinely enjoy playing. Whether you are an adult learning for fun, a complete beginner, or someone returning to piano after years away, I create a supportive and motivating environment where steady progress feels achievable.
Lessons focus on proper hand position, coordination, rhythm, note reading, and musical expression. Each session includes warm-ups, technique work, and repertoire tailored to your level and goals. I also teach practice strategies so students know exactly how to improve between lessons.
As a multi-instrumentalist (clarinet, saxophone, piano, and ukulele), I bring a broad musical understanding into my teaching. This helps students develop not just piano skills, but overall musicianship — rhythm, listening, phrasing, and confidence.
