About Kathleen
Before my time training at the Academy (aada), I was mentored and trained by Fredi Walker Browne, who notably originated the roll of “Joanne” in Jonathan Larsen’s RENT, I spent over 10 years under her and continue collaboration to this very day. Under the academy I’ve trained under various instructors and have extensive training in Alexander Technique, Stage Combat, IPA and Dialect Training, musical theatre, Shakespeare under Owen Horsley (The Royal Shakespeare Company) and much more! As a Professional I originated the roll of “Tracey” in the new adaption of Chris Miller and Nathan Tyson’s “Fugitive Songs” in which I was nominated by BroadwayWorld for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical and where the show in itself won 5 categories including Best Production of the Year!
I’m currently working in the musical theater and film industries and have many connections to casting directors and producers where I stay in the “need to know” on the business side of things, which is always noted in my sessions.
