About Glafira
Hello, my name is Glafira, and I am an online English tutor. Languages have always been an important part of my life. I studied at an international British school in Spain, where I became fluent in English while also speaking native Russian and continuing to improve my Spanish and French.
I have experience teaching English to younger and middle school students through internships at my school. This has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different students and levels.
I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and helping them feel more confident using English in real life. I believe learning a language should feel natural, supportive, and encouraging.
I am responsible, motivated, and committed to helping my students improve step by step. My goal is to create a positive learning experience where students feel comfortable, understood, and supported.

My teaching approach is focused on helping students feel more confident and comfortable speaking English. I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually using it, so my lessons are based a lot on speaking and real conversation. I gently correct mistakes and explain things in a simple way so you can learn without feeling stressed.
A typical lesson starts with a short conversation to get you speaking, followed by a main topic where we practise everyday English. This could be talking about daily life, interests, or common situations. I also help with vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar when needed, always in a clear and practical way.
What makes my lessons different is that I understand what it feels like to learn a language. I have studied in an international environment and I speak several languages myself, so I know the challenges students face and how to overcome them.
My lessons are for students of all ages and levels, especially beginners and intermediate learners. I also work well with students who are shy or not confident speaking English yet, and I help them improve step by step.
