My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptable, with a focus on building understanding, confidence, and long-term academic skills. I guide students through concepts step by step, encourage active participation, and adjust my explanations based on individual learning needs.
A typical lesson begins with identifying the student’s goals or challenges, followed by targeted instruction and guided practice. I gradually shift responsibility to the student to ensure they can apply concepts independently, ending each session with a brief review or strategy for continued improvement.
What sets me apart is my commitment to making a meaningful impact on students’ academic futures. I view tutoring as more than just completing assignments—it is about mentorship, trust, and helping students develop skills that carry forward.
I am able to tutor elementary, middle school, high school, and early college students in math (Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Statistics), sciences (Physics, Biology), and humanities (English and Social Studies), particularly those who benefit from individualized, one-on-one support. I also speak both English and Spanish, so if needed, I can speak in either one of those languages. :)
