About Giovanna
I am an editor for two magazines that deal with fashion and lifestyle and I am a collaborator for few magazines. I got my second degree in London in journalism and I love writing (both in English and in Italian). Learning a foreign language means diving into the culture of a new place. And I think there are a lot of different and fun ways to assimilate foreign languages compared to the more traditional and academic ones. At university in Trieste, for example, I enjoyed studying French and English through articles found in fashion magazines, because I found it more stimulating than the books that were recommended to me (and in this way I managed to pass several exams). Studying is not necessarily boring!

My methodology: reading texts in international magazines (not only on academic books) to make the learning experience more fun. Let the student writes a series of small texts and reviews in English. I will teach writing lessons in different styles. There will be also grammatical exercises to improve the use of words.
