About Brandon
Hi! I graduated with a degree in Mathematical Sciences with a 3.93 GPA. I now work as a mathematical statistician for the United States Air Force. I study math multiple times a week even still and work through complicated problems in my job and outside of it. Simply put, I really like math. I know how to learn it and how to help others learn it, and I know I can help you get the grades you want!
Outside of math, my hobbies include spending time with my family, exercising, skateboarding, and wake-surfing!

I base my tutoring on techniques backed by studies on how humans learn best! Three ways that people are able to learn best include short, intensive study sessions; working and reworking exercises, and trying to explain the material to someone else like a teacher.
My sessions will be 30-60 minutes where I will work through a simple, 3-step process with my students.
1. I will show the student, step by step, on how to work through the problems the student is working through.
2. My students will work through the problems alongside me.
3. My students will work through the problems themselves and explain how to solve them step by step.
Following this pattern will help the students excel in their academic work and know how to learn technical material in the future.
