About Nicholas
I'm a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts Graduate Program, where I focused on screenwriting. Since graduating, I have worked as a screenwriter and I have become a published essayist. I have several years of education experience, including helping students at all academic levels with their English and writing development.

My approach to teaching, which I've developed over several years of working in education and tutoring, is to allow the student's creative instinct and intuition to guide the instruction. I follow them to where they're interested in going with a text or a piece of writing and I help them shape what it is they want to say.
Lesson plans are unique to what the student wants to work on, but I believe in a workshop style of learning. Work on something to a point of completion and then go back through it to polish it up, however many times you need to.
My foundational belief as a tutor is to take the fear out of writing and creative thinking. Make it accessible and interesting to everyone.
