About Ruta
I am a graduate of a BA in Philosophy and Theology at Oxford University and an MA in Medieval Studies at King's College London. Whilst my University degrees have not been in Art, I have focused on it in my free time. Whilst at Oxford I illustrated for the Oxford Blue magazine, and did set design for stage productions, as well as running the illustrations for play productions' ad campaigns. I have also produced some cover art for song releases. I have studied Art at Sixth Form where I received an A* in the Fine Art A-Level, as well as receiving an A* in GCSE Art.

I am from a family of artists and therefore grew up with a real passion for art, being surrounded by it all the time, I would love to help share this passion with you, whether just to help you improve your skills for fun, or to help navigate GCSE or A-Level art exams! With the right approach, I believe it is definitely possible to move an art grade up, and I would love to share my insight. In my lessons I will listen and adapt to your needs and what kind of art you want to explore most. I typically do 1 hour lessons, but these can also be adapted to cater to your preferences.
