About Renee
My name is Renee and I am a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I also work as an Education Technician in a 5th/6th grade special education behavior room. Working in both speech and education has given me valuable experience helping students strengthen their communication, reading, writing, and academic skills. I believe every child learns differently, and I tailor my approach to meet each student's individual learning style. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping students build confidence and achieve academic success.

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, my teaching methods include combining evidence-based clinical strategies with clear coaching. This includes play-based therapy and multi-sensory cues such as visual, tactile, and auditory.
My background in special education provides me with the experience and skill-set needed to tutor children of all ages in English, literacy, spelling, grammar, phonetics, pragmatics, speech production, and fluency.
I am trained with AAC devices and welcome students with all abilities.
