About Ray
I have years of experience accompanying a wide range of performers/groups (i.e. vocal soloists, ballet classes, and musical theatre students and ensembles at the collegiate level at auditions, classes, festivals, and concerts). I've also taught a variety of age and skill levels piano, voice, and music theory for many years. I also record & mix accompaniment tracks with various instruments on recording software for performers.

I believe that each student learns differently, especially in regards to music and the piano. I believe that students should choose their own music, because then they will naturally be more inclined to practice more. I believe that I can simplify complex music theory and sight-reading to empower students to enjoy learning theory to create their own beautiful music, as well as to on-demand sight-read music easily too. I teach according to the student's needs and his/her own pace, and mold curriculum to ensure an optimum and enjoyable experience for each pianist.
