About Singgih
I bring a strong academic and professional background to my tutoring. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have pursued graduate studies in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, where my coursework has included quantitative analysis, energy systems, sustainability, and business-related subjects.
Before graduate school, I worked for several years in engineering, maintenance planning, project management, and industrial operations. This experience allows me to explain technical and quantitative concepts not only from a theoretical perspective, but also through practical, real-world examples.

My approach as a tutor is practical, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus not only on helping students understand the correct answer, but also on making sure they understand the reasoning and concepts behind it.
My teaching method combines clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, real-world examples, and guided practice. I usually begin by identifying the student’s current level and areas of difficulty, then break complex concepts into smaller and more manageable parts. I encourage students to ask questions and actively work through problems rather than simply listening to explanation.
