About Helen Louise
I am a graduate from a respected Australian university. I teach English and foreign languages, and am also a teacher of TOEFL/ IELTS preparation. I was an IELTS examiner for 10 years. Now I am very happy to prepare candidates of all ages for the IELTS test. So far, those whom I have prepared have passed the test and reached their desired score and sometimes scored even higher within a very short time. I base my classes on candidates' needs, their professional area and interests. I use current, engaging materials that relate directly to the requirements of the test as I know the test very well. I can also answer your questions and steer you towards success.

I teach using a mixture of approaches depending on students' needs and learning style. I am very adaptable and aim to tailor lessons to your level of competence using a combination of communicative and grammar based approach. It really depends on what areas you want to improve in as to how I design lessons. My aim is to make lessons enjoyable and to improve your level of confidence, but you will also need to be active and practise what you learn during the lesson and at home. I can assure you that I will not waste your time.
