About Chrissie
Currently, in my role as a special needs teaching assistant, I am responsible for supporting the education of children with additional needs. I have three years experience within this sector and have worked with children between the ages of 6 to 9. Previously, I worked as a nursery supervisor and helped the staff under my supervision achieve their childcare qualifications.

The children I support face face many barriers to learning so to overcome this I use both visual resources and creativity within individual lesson plans that are tailored to their needs. In my previous role at the nursery, I would get the students to observe me and then I would observe them, giving feedback on their performance.
